The Quantum Asolo Factory is the flagship model in the field of pure-bred touring boots. A radical concept comprising a two-piece bonded shell outer structure and dual link cuff, made from highly rigid, carbon-reinforced polyamide, designed for sporty tourers. Despite an extremely low weight of just 950 g (Mondo Point 26.5), the boot still offers exceptional comfort on ascents and impressive performance on descents. The secret behind the Quantum range lies in the innovative, two-piece shell and cuff structure with an anatomical fit. This enables the combination of a firm, rigid outer shell and a full-length sole plate while still offering great freedom of movement for climbs. Carbon-reinforced polyamide not only lowers the weight but also increases the rigidity. This initially makes the climb easier and later offers loss-free power transfer, outstanding performance, and great ski control on the descent. The two-piece dual link cuff enables more than a 65° range of movement and is securely locked with a non-stretch Dyneema cord so as to provide lateral stability. Above-average heel hold is guaranteed by the quick lacing system (QLS), which is adjusted by turning a wheel. The ultra-light, high-quality ID Touring Pro liner can naturally be adapted to the shape of the foot.

A profiled Vibram rocker sole with varying hardness offers good grip in the snow when walking and climbing plus smooth power transfer to the binding and ski.
