Trailrunning Team Vibram® at UTMB® 2012

Official partner of the prestigious The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® since 2007, Vibram strengthened its presence in 2011 by getting the field with a team of its own . Vibram believes that ordinary people are able to reach such extraordinary achievements as crossing the line of the UTMB®, the legendary race crossing three countries (Italy, France, Switzerland) around the Mont-Blanc massif within 46 hours. This year, in the occasion of 10 years of UTMB® , Vibram has selected a new team of 6 athletes willing to face the Mont-Blanc : starting from August 27th, Nicola Bassi, Francesca Canepa, David Gatti, Giuseppe “Beppe” Marazzi, Ronan Moalic and Sebastien Nain will take to a 168km-long route all the values always belonging to Vibram: passion for sport, teamwork and respect for nature. The athletes of the Trailrunning Team Vibram® 2012 will run The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® wearing hi-tech shoes powered by Vibram® soles in order to face the long and rugged trails of the race, and will be equipped with a top-level gear for an “extraordinary” performance to be ensured.
