The sixth edition of the Hong Kong’s original 100km individual ultra-marathon, the Vibram Hong Kong 100, will take place on Saturday 23rd January. Having rapidly established itself as one of the pre-eminent ‘ultras’ in the world, the 2016 Vibram Hong Kong 100 will welcome more than 2,200 endurance athletes from over 40 different countries, as they compete over the beautiful, yet grueling course that snakes through the New Territories of Hong Kong.
The event will be the third time forming the first step of the international Ultra Trail World Tour, a series of 12 classic ultra-marathons from around the globe in which the world’s best endurance athletes compete.
As Hong Kong’s reputation as an outstanding trail and ultra-running destination continues to grow, this race has attracted some of the leading exponents of off-road endurance running from Asia and across the world.
