Ironclad partners with Vibram to debut innovative industrial gloves

“We are extremely excited about this collaboration with Vibram to create such a groundbreaking product,” stated Eric Jaeger, vice president of research and development at Ironclad. “The combination of Ironclad’s impact protection technology and Vibram’s gripping rubber will revolutionize hand protection for industrial workers.”

As a part of its Industrial Impact Glove line, Ironclad will introduce eight styles incorporating Vibram technology. All of the gloves feature an impermeable rubber palm with Vibram’s legendary grip. In independent durability and performance tests, Ironclad’s new glove line achieved 900 percent more grip and abrasion resistance over leading products.

“Vibram soles are the foundation on which millions of hard-working people place their trust in every day,” states Bill Ells, vice president of component sales for Vibram. “Just as our soles and rubber compounds are designed for the most extreme environments, the Ironclad glove collection uses this same engineering to create high-performance handwear.”

The Industrial Impact Glove line will debut with a series of application-specific palms including a high-grip palm for mud and oil based environments, a high dexterity palm, a waterproof and fluid dispersing palm, and a complete fire/electric arc resistant glove with a fire-resistant rubber palm.
