Born in New Zealand, Scotty is a trail runner who started traveling full time when his daughter was born. He spends six months of the year in the Southern Hemisphere in New Zealand and six months travelling and racing around the rest of the world. After a few years of mainly racing within Australia Scotty was keen to test himself against the world's best trail runners. He’s been on podiums at several World Tour races and also represented his home nation at the IAU Trail World Championships in 2016. He enjoys races with both technical and fast runnable trails, but the best are fast technical trails! Since few years his first goal is to perform at Ultra Trail Mont Blanc race considered the 100miles race with higher level in the world.
